I.O.W. Festival 2009

How is it that the majority of the artists performing this weekend can’t actually hack it playing live? Obviously a couple of exceptions, but certainly not the majority. Is this how it’s been since time began or is this today’s norm. As long as someone makes a fortune on the artists first single, let’s forget the whole package?

We know there’s no time to develop an artist anymore, unless you’re with Island, but is letting artists show us they can’t really sing any good for them or the industry?

I can’t repair cars, so I don’t call myself a mechanic.
I can’t fly an plane, so I don’t call myself a pilot.
So why do people who can’t sing call themselves singers?
